In Japanese the term "HôYoku" refers to a poor peasant who always dreamed of becoming a Samurai, but he was lived on an outer island where this was impossible. After his death, his ashes were blown by the wind to Honshu, where he was born again as a Samurai warrior. In this sense, the term "Hô Yoku" equates to "Phoenix" - hence the logo. |
